The Revolution is Here

The journey to develop the new AirRest pads began in early 2024. After gathering feedback from users of our existing product, we identified two key areas for improvement: greater softness and enhanced breathability to prevent sweating.

While exploring potential solutions, we were inspired by pioneering innovations like Wilson’s 3D-printed basketball and adidas’s groundbreaking 4DFWD shoe technology. These products revolutionized what’s possible with 3D printing, setting new standards in the fields of sports equipment and footwear.

140 Prototypes, 18 Months

Creating AirRest was never simple. After nearly 40 prototypes, we launched the first MJF version, which quickly gained a loyal community of users. The feedback was great, but also gave us a few ideas for improvement.

Over the past half-year we teamed up with Carbon to bring AirRest to their DLS technology and EPU 46 elastomer. Now, with this 3rd batch, it looks familiar on the outside but has been completely re-engineered for more softness, durability, and lasting comfort.

Innovative Lattice Structure and 3D Printing

Using advanced lattice structures, Carbon Digital Light Synthesis™ (DLS) technology, and the premium EPU 46 elastomer, our new pads deliver even greater softness and breathability. This directly builds on the positive feedback from the previous MJF version, while addressing the few improvements our community suggested.

What the end goal?

These pads mark the beginning of a new chapter in our product line. Our ultimate goal with these pads is to implement 3D scanning and 3D printing technology for a personalized product. This means we aim to fully tailor the product to you, recognizing that each hand is unique.
