01: What is the HoldX SSD Sleeve?
The HoldX SSD Sleeve is a 3D-printed PETG sleeve, shaped for one SSD model. It lets HoldX attach to silicone-coated drives.
02: Which SSDs does it fit?
You choose by SSD model when you order: Samsung T7, Samsung T7 Shield, Samsung T9, SanDisk Extreme and SanDisk Extreme PRO (SDSSDE80/81). Each sleeve fits one model only.
03: Does it include a magnet?
No. The sleeve is not magnetic. You stick the HoldX magnetic mount onto the sleeve, as you would on a bare SSD. It does not work without HoldX.
04: Can I use one sleeve for different drives?
Only for the exact same model.
05: Will it affect my SSD?
Drives without silicone coating, such as the Samsung T7, get a simple mechanical lock.
06: Can I print it myself?
Yes. The HoldX SSD Sleeve 3D model is a digital file for the selected SSD model, with PETG recommended. You need a HoldX magnetic mount. See Wallpapers and 3D-printable files.
